Mechanical Design Engineer

This open position will require enthusiasm for the development and design of mechanical components and systems for our new product line. This position will provide and present possible solutions for design challenges utilizing AutoCAD Inventor (2010 version preferably). A working knowledge of and familiarity with blueprints, engineering drawings, machining and fabrication processes, weldments, sheet metal designs, and general manufacturing are essential to perform the necessary functions of this position. This individual will procure domestically and internationally while interacting with suppliers to ensure quality and expedite required lead times. This position will analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals with other documentation to develop designs for our new product line will evaluating and considering appropriate GD&T callouts for components and systems. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 3-5 years demonstrated experience in manufacturing. Equivalent education from two-year college or technical school (Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology) and greater than 5 years demonstrated experience will be given consideration. MBA would be a plus. This position requires willingness to travel 5% - 30% domestically or international. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work closely and collaboratively with sales, engineering, programming, and management.

Mechanical Drafter

This position will prepare detailed drawings from rough or detailed sketches and notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes according to dimensional specifications. This individual will calculate and lay out dimensions, angles, curvature of parts, and materials to be used, relationship of one feature to another by using GD&T and relationship of various parts to entire project, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices such as: mathematics, materials, or manufacturing technology. This candidate must be able to modify drawings as directed by the Engineering Manager or the Project Engineer. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Mechanical Engineering; at least two (2) years experience in mechanical design and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and comprehensive training in 3D CAD applications, preferably AutoCAD Inventor, experience and familiarity with GD&T with a general understanding in machining operations, weldment and sheet metal design.

Electrical Engineer / Controller Integrator

This professional will design control circuits for machine functions such as motor controls, sequence of operation, timers, program drums, limit switches, interlock and safety devices, sizing of fuses, overloads and wire, and panel layouts. Will also design logic and programming of GE Fanuc CNC and PLC controllers, Robot controllers, and Allen-Bradley PLC-5. Some travel to customer facilities for installation and trouble shooting. Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment. This applicant should be degreed in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 to 3 years experience in the electronics field of machine tools. Strong experience with Servo drives and CNC controllers required. Controller experience with Fanuc 300i (minimum with 30i or 31i) Thorough understanding of the File Management CNC Setting tool to establish hardware configuration. Knowledge of commercial codes and specifications such as NEC, NEAM, JIC and NPFA.
